Columbia's a funny duck. Typically they waitlist URMs with your numbers, but accept URMs with much lower numbers (the 2011 cycle, a 160 3.87 MA got in). If you *really* want Columbia, no reason not to ED, seeing as you're not looking at too much in the way of scholarship money anyway.

However, in the interest of full disclosure, you have probably a 50/50 shot at S, and 30-60% chance at H. If this were my cycle, I'd RD everywhere and retake in December to try and pick up H/S. But if you're really happy with Columbia, ED.

Unless you absolutely want CLS, I recommend you don't ED. As AA Female with those numbers, you have a great shot at HYS.

Is CLS your top choice?

You have a shot at Harvard and even Stanford. I won't ED to anywhere unless CLS is your absolute top choice and you can't see yourself attending anywhere else.

However, I advise you apply to all the T14s and see who takes a bite. There will be many acceptances coming your way!

Thank you everyone for your speedy and helpful replies. I was thinking of EDing at CLS because I thought I didn't have a good shot at it (if, as I sometimes fear, I will max-out in the high 160s). I also didn't think I had a chance in hell at HYS, so thanks for weighing in here.

Jumping on the "Don't ED" bandwagon. You'll probably get one of HYS and at the very least CCN with money.
