What are my chances? 2.58/173

Post by krnchungyoon » Wed Aug 22, 2012 6:07 am

I know my GPA is terrible but I still have hope in my LSAT score. I graduated from IU and I have three good recommendations lined up. Any idea on what my chances are with Northwestern?

Sorry for the dual posts, I didn't mean to bump the other thread. In terms of work experience, I'm lined up to work at this law firm as an intern but I'm not getting paid. Does that matter? I'll be able to work at least one year since I'm taking a year from graduation. Any thoughts? Thank you!

With 2 years WE your chances at NW are probably pretty solid.

With 1 year combined with your suspect GPA I don't see it happening.

I don't know that 2 years of WE necessarily makes OP's chances 'solid', but it would significantly improve his/her chances. That GPA is certainly a hindrance.

I'm sure there are more relevant LSN profiles, but here are a few to examine, krnchun.
