Typically yls admits the kind of people who are proactive self-starters when it comes to acquiring knowledge. That you failed to do a simple search of this site before asking this question does not bode well for your admission chances.

No need to be a smartass to OP. But since you want to be, I will be one back. His chances are unknown, but yours are clearly out the window, as you clearly don't know the difference between sufficient and necessary. It might be NECESSARY to be able to use be search function, but it isn't sufficient. Try again next time.

OP, you can definitely check out http://www.lawschoolnumbers.com or use the what are my chances thread. But clearly, A high gpa and high LSAT, IN ADDITION to amazing softs will give you a fighting chance. I don't think any candidate is guaranteed.

Although the guy who was a smartass seems like a dick, I'd like to point out that your snarky response was really poorly done. He never suggested that it was a sufficient condition, only that it was necessary and that OP did not possess this trait. You need to consult a logician.

Nothing in my post deals with necessary or sufficient conditions. The words I used we're equivocal. Also, to atone for being a dick, I'll suggest that the op google and read dean Asha's blog. It's the best source of info on yls admission.
