hey im a newbie so this question may sound silly to most of you.
Ive been reading some posts and noticed "cycle" is used often.
What are you guys talking about when you mention "cycle"?

They are referring to the admission cycle that occures every year.
It basically just entails applying, followed by being accepted/rejected/waitlisted, during a given year.

Applications opening until classes starting with the things Nova mentioned in between form a cycle. So the 2011-2012 cycle started in August 2011 when applications opened and will end with the start of the next cycle/classes starting here this month. Some people will refer to it by class year as well so the 2011-2012 application cycle might also be referred to side by side with class of 2015, when applicants will graduate.
