international student 168/4.01 should I retake?
Hey all,
This is my second time with LSAT. The first score is cancelled, while the second one is nearly 5 points lower than my preps.
I have no working experience, while I have various extracurriclar activities(volunteer, debate team, photography) in my college.
Still want to be in t14, should I retake?
But I have another important exam to take in Sep. So my only chance is to take in Dec and apply for 2014 fall. Is that a wise choice?
Thanks a lot!

Yes that is a wise choice. If you could break 170, maybe about 172 you are looking at great chances for Harvard Yale and Stanfordmez4083 wrote:Hey all,

I agree with Brev. Retaking would be wise. You could still apply this September and retake in December. If you dont like how your cycle goes, sit out and reapply.

Thanks! But if I apply this september and enter for a December LSAT, the law school will pend their decision and wait for my Dec score, right?Nova wrote:I agree with Brev. Retaking would be wise. Make sure you let them know you intend to re-write so they hold off on making an admit/reject decision immediately. With a 4.01 i doubt you'll get flat-out rejections and you'd be more likely to end up on waitlists or something, but still.
Also, Yale doesn't give an advantage to early applicants. Just don't even bother to send in your Yale app until you get your December score back.

ya this. you could really still apply to CCN on down, blanket t14, inform them you are retaking. they will either hold for your score, and that timing shouldn't hurt you too bad, or you will at worst get waitlisted - which again a retake would be ideal for. def hold of on apps to HYS until new score thoughbbsg wrote:Make sure you let them know you intend to re-write so they hold off on making an admit/reject decision immediately. Hey thx, I plan to apply to several t14 and prepare to retake in Dec at the same time. How can I let them kow I intend to retake? By attaching an addendum or the admission council will know I have registered for the Dec through lsac?bbsg wrote:Make sure you let them know you intend to re-write so they hold off on making an admit/reject decision immediately.
