ED NU then, if rejected, ED UVA. Great job on the LSAT, make it count.
ETA: In at Vandy.

Do not, I repeat, do not even glance at Charlotte Law School as you drive past it.
Ignore USC, too.
Best bet is UVA.

Likely for WFU & USC. Possible at UNC. Unlikely at Duke.

2) Out @ Duke (hard 3.5 GPA floor)
3) In @ UNC
4) In @ S Car
5) If unemployment is what you seek Charlotte is an excellent choice.
Aim higher, you stand a decent shot at UVA via ED as well as NU
EDIT: nvm LSN has 2 acceptances @ 2.8

I got into Wake with $20k a year with a 168/2.7, so you should do fine there.

OP: According to http://www.lawschoolnumbers.com, a poster with a 173/2.8 had these results:
Illinois--accepted
WashUStL--accepted
George Mason--accepted
Wash & Lee--accepted
Notre Dame--waitlist
Northwestern--waitlist
Georgetown--waitlist
UNC--waitlist
Virginia--waitlist, then accepted
GWU--waitlist, then accepted
WFU--waitlist, then accepted
Next cycle should produce better results as apps to law schools are expected to decline even further.

As a splitter, you should send out a lot of applications since results are not easy to predict.

Any shot at Cornell or any california school? I know california universities love GPAs
I'm hoping applications drop me for the 2013-2014

Re: 2.78 173: Wake Forest, Duke, UNC, U South Carolina?
It's irrelevant since OP is below 3.0, but a few people got in to Duke with a sub 3.5 this cycle. Anyway OP you should shoot for Northwestern/UVA like everyone else said, although I think your chances at Northwestern are better. And either of those at sticker is better than whatever money you'll get as a splitter from T25s, at least in my opinion. You could probably get good money at Wake/UNC, but I'd only take those over a T14 if you could graduate near debt free and were dead set on staying in NC.tfleming09 wrote:1) In @ WFsplittertothemax wrote:GPA:2.78
