I just received my LSAT score yesterday and Im getting ready to apply in september
Lsat: 167
GPA:3.21 (University of Georgia) Major: Accounting
-Upward grade trend since Freshman year as my coursework got harder, Accounting program at UGA is #7 in the nation and my major GPA is far above the program average, and my rec letters will attest to that.
Softs: -President of one large (2250 members) and one small (120 members) organization at school
-Member of intense and highly selective (30 students per year) leadership program within Terry College of Business
-Intern with the Governor of Georgia
Schools:
UVA
Vanderbilt
UT
UGA
I plan on attaching an addenda to my transcript drawing attention to the upward grade trend also a "Why UVA" and "Why Vanderbilt" letter. Also I will be participating in the interview for Vanderbilt.
i know my GPA puts me in a tight spot with three of the schools but I am hoping that the prestige of the program and my softs will help me out. any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated

You are well below all GPA medians. You need to hit median LSAT, a 170 at UVA or a 169 at Vandy, to have a shot.fisherklaw wrote:

You have UTs median LSAT but way below the GPA floor and OOS will hurt.
In at UGA.

Not happening. UVA is not interested in your 167 or Shit GPA. This is coming from someone with a 167 and shit GPA.
