3.78 UG GPA/172 LSAT/730 GMAT?
I was wondering what are my chances for these JD/MBA programs. I also have 5 years WE (going to throw the towel in July). Here are the schools that I would ideally like to apply for: Harvard, Stanford, University of Pennsylvania, University of Virginia, New York University, University of Michigan, and University of Chicago. I don't know how much you guys can offer to the MBA portion if you can by all means please give some insight/chancing info.

UPenn should be on the top of your list for JD/MBA You may also want to consider, on you're list of potential schools, Northwestern for their JD/MBA program.
I really don't know the chances but you do have the option to apply to almost all JD/MBA programs during your first year of LS. It all boils down to what you want to do with the MBA.
By LSAT alone, you're most likely out at Harvard and Stanford.

Some Private Wealth Management/Asset Management work (think along the lines of Wellington Management Company, Morgan Stanley, etc.)
@miller: thanks for the Northwestern suggestion.
I figured most likely most of the people one here wouldn't be able to shed some light on the MBA portion (since usually one normally applies separately for the MBA and JD programs for the joint degree) but I guess as far as JD only what are my shots (HS aside)

I would blanket the T14, you have a "shot" everywhere but with probably acceptances at the schools you listed above.
I would strongly advise you consider what means more to you:
A Chicago JD and an MBA from their business school or a UPenn JD with an MBA from Wharton.

That's great. I'm at a Bulge Bracket right now doing AM. I would look into Northwestern/Kellogg. It depends on if you value the JD or MBA more. If you value the MBA then I would go to Wharton/Penn as my first choice. (Behind Harvard and Stanford)

I guess I would want the JD to have a little more value (I would be happy with a T10 Business Degree) since ultimately I am trying to aim for an M&A Lawyer gig or an in-house counsel gig after LS. Also since I would want to be in a finance related legal field (like M&A) it would make sense to go to a B-school with a more heavy curriculum on finance right because I heard Northwestern rules the Marketing concentration, right?

Personally, I would rank it as Harvard, Stanford, Penn/Wharton, Chicago/Booth, Columbia. That is my personal opinion, so take it for what it's worth.

Wow I swear I listed Berkeley I guess not, yeah but I have a huge interest in Berkeley. Ideally though I would like to see myself at CBS/CLS. What do guys you think my chances are at Columbia LS?
