URM 3.67 168 LSAT No extracurriculars

Post by ai3mvpmvp » Sun Jun 17, 2012 10:52 pm

I have done business internships over the summer in a management program and have experience with management, coordinating projects etc. I am half white/ half Puerto Rican. I have privately tutored during the school year that is about as far as my EC's go. I was wondering what my chances were at a top 30 and especially if the fact that i really have no EC's significantly hurt my chances?

Afro-puerto Rican, per chance? Cause then you're looking T14...

Top 30? You don't need to bother applying anywhere outside T14. You should be competitive at CCN (especially NYU) and should get money from the bottom half. Don't sweat the lack of EC's. It's nearly entirely irrelevant.

Dixon is right. Big money outside T14. Money 7-14. In at at least one of CCN.

You're going to have an interesting cycle... :D

I'd seriously consider retaking the LSAT if you feel like you could do better. Two more points, you'll be in the 170 range. This will help you substantially with scholarship money at CCN level.
