Hey folks,
So, I did my undergrad overseas (in Oz), and am currently getting my Master's. Any idea how schools weight this? The GPA, were it prorated down to a standard 4.0 scale, would not look particularly impressive, but the grading system is different enough that it's not really an apples-to-apples comparison.
I'm still waiting to hear back from Harvard and Yale, waitlisted at Columbia (so...probably not a great sign for HY). Just wondering if anyone out there knows much about how schools look at these sorts of things.

I guess I should probably mention that I am a Yank, just did my undergrad OS...though I'm not sure how much that matters.

Is your LSDAS GPA 3.68 or a qualitative rank (e.g. above average, superior)? Did you apply late? If you did, you might want to try re-applying early next cycle.
