why not fordham? easily third best school in NYC and places decently in jobs in the area. you should have a very good chance of getting in with anything above a 167.

I didn't list fordham because I don't think I have any real chances getting there with my gpa.

Don't know if you chose Cardozo PT for those same reasons, but a 164, 165, something around there would get you in FT.

Yes for those same reasons.
Is it easier to get to, for example, Cardozo PT than Cardozo FT? 164, 165 for FT and for PT? 1 or 2 points less?
Thanks

FWIW, these are my New York results for when I applied (3.3, 167) in 2010-2011.

Cardozo - 23K/yr
Fordham - waitlisted
Hofstra - 42K/yr
St. John's - full ride, top 70% stipulation

I wouldn't count on Fordham unless you score a 169 or above. Still probably your best shot in NYC because I think that GPA may be too low for Columbia and NYU, regardless of LSAT score.

I am graduating college in June, currently studying for the June LSAT. My college GPA is 3.3, but due to 2 Fs 4 semesters ago, my LSAC GPA will be around 3.1. I am from NY so I would love to attend one of the NY-area LS. So my question, around how much do I have to get on the LSAT to have a chance of getting accepted to any of the schools listed below? Im not an URM, worked part time/ full time since high school so I dont have too many extracurricular activities I can list on my resume... First in my family to go to college, fluent in 3 languages (I don't know if any of this info matters in terms of admission).
Once again thanks a lot.

Cardozo (PT)
Brooklyn
St. Johns
Hofstra
Buffalo
Pace
You include Buffalo but leave out Cornell? Why? It's a long shot but a 170+ could still get you in. If you put up some good numbers you should send an application in and see what happens.

Those were just examples, not a final list. I know that every application and applicant is different so I just wanted to know an estimate, what people think.
