UB/UMD you should be good.
You have no chance in hell for Penn/GT.
Retake for 170+.

I hear u op. You clearly want to be unemployed, and your current stats will no doubt enable u to be in debt with no job quite quickly. I'd personally apply to Kentucky if I was u as it would give u the same prospects as the MD schools you'd get into, but Kentucky also has a better welfare program.

I think if you wanna stay in Baltimore, UMD is a good a school as any, and you have a good shot as is.

What do you mean by this? You mean you don't have ANY time in between now and October/December to retake? Or are you applying way late this cycle?california425 wrote:Thanks, wish I had the time to refocus and retake...

If you want to stay in Baltimore, go to UMD. You are good for UMD as is. Just make sure your app/recs are good.california425 wrote:Thanks for that comment larigold.
UMD is my #1 with UB #2. I want to be in the Baltimore area...am married, still live right up the block from Hop.
I do have "time" to retake but it took a lot out of me with my job first time around. From what Ive gathered a 163 isnt bad, is it my gpa that is too low?

Even if you can get in to UMD right now, wouldn't you rather be there with a scholarship? Why not retake just for the money?

I, for one, thought it was pretty amusing and somewhat accurate.rglifberg wrote:Classic TLS douchebag.... You are the man! Nothing like being witty as fuck with your online persona.
