I applied this cycle assuming I'd be graduating a year early and matriculating in the fall (to accommodate the fiance's schooling and career, basically). His plans have changed so honestly I'm indifferent as to reapplying and would prefer to defer even if I do deposit. So far my top choice right now of my acceptances is Georgetown, but I'm still waiting hopelessly at nyu/mich/uva (retaking the Dec LSAT really hurt me, I think).
The problem is I'm not sure if I should deposit at Georgetown or reapply next year hoping specifically for nyu/upenn/northwestern ED (I'm open to going anywhere, but my fiance is applying to medical school with a mediocre gpa so those cities have biggest chances for him to matriculate somewhere nearby, at least more so than mich/cornell/etc).
The main problem is that I'm a hard science major and finishing some upper level microbio/biochem classes this summer, so my gpa when reapplying will probably be around a 3.3x-3.4x instead of the 3.5x I originally applied with. Obviously I'll still have no FT WE.
So my question is basically: should I risk reapplying next year with a lower gpa and aiming for penn ED while blanketing the T14, or should I count my blessings and deposit at GTown to be safe?
Thanks guys
