UF Engineer 3.2, 172, hispanic. Any chance at T14?

Post by nprene » Tue Mar 06, 2012 11:13 pm

I was mainly looking at George Washington University and Minnesota-Twin Cities until I got my 172 today. I know I am a splitter for sure, but I wanted to know if I have any chance at getting into a school like Georgetown or Penn. Is it worth a shot at applying late or should I just wait a year to try again while working on my MS?

worth waiting a year and applying early for sure. you might be able to get gtown if you ed now (if their ED is still open) but you could get into really good schools if you apply first thing next app season

Thanks Al. I know HYS are probably out of the question given my GPA, but do I realistically have a shot at Columbia if I ED? Berkley? (Looking to get into IP law)

Check LSN for how URM's did for those schools. If you were non-URM, absolutely no chance at either school.
