CCN locked? Consider at HS?

Thanks, guys and girls.

You are a particularly strong candidate at Stanford. I wouldn't say "locked" at CCN (crazier things have happened).

If you applied recently probably not a lock at any-more like a waitlist or straight ding. If you applied next year in at NYU, good shot at CC. Consider at Harvard (get your app in first day) but still unlikely. People get in with you numbers at Stanford, more people don't. It's huge toss up. A retake for 172+ would really change the equation though. I have roughly your same numbers and that's my plan.

If you applied this year, it's a toss-up for any of these schools.

If you will apply this fall, you'll get 2 of 3 at CCN (probably Chi and NYU) and probably 1 of 3 of HYS (probably S).

I'm on my second cycle--I retook between them. My first cycle was 170/4.0. MVP is the lock not CCN. Very good chances at CCN, chances at HYS. Get good letters of rec if you can that say this 4.0 is a bigger deal than two points on the LSAT, know what I mean?

Also, apply early.

This is precisely what happened to me with almost identical numbers.

ETA: I applied super-early in October 2011.

Congrats! This cycle seems gentler.

I didn't get any CCN last cycle but got all of MVPB. Good chances, but not lock.
