161 LSAT/3.52 GPA .... looking for SoCal schools
I'm looking for SoCal schools and I want to be realistic. I applied to USD (no $), Loyola ($$) and Chapman (haven't heard back). Are there other schools I should consider and what are my chances?
Also, debt/scholarship is a consideration.
I worked as a paralegal for a year, which might give me a slight admissions boost?

You should consider retaking that LSAT and applying next year.

Really? I mean, realistically, I'm not going to a T14.

Why not? You have a better GPA than I do, and I plan on only applying to T-14's next year.

If I were to get into a T14, I couldn't fathom accumulating that much debt. I already have some undergrad debt to consider (50k). Plus, I want to practice law in the Southern California region, so even if I scored high enough to get into UCLA and USC, both schools fall just short of the T14 anyways.

The primary reason for going to law school should be to obtain gainful legal employment. USD, Loyola, and Chapman will give you a slim chance at that.
