Re: 168 / 3.58 (LSDAS GPA 3.04)
I have no idea if middle eastern is considered a "real" URM. Assuming it's not, I don't think you have a shot at the t14. That GPA is just too low. With a 170+, possible shot at NU.

Thanks, that's what I feared.
I'll make sure to cast my net as wide as possible. I'd love to go to a school in California, but I have heard that GPA is very important to them. Is this true?
Any schools in the top 50 that you think I have a real shot at?

T50? You can get WUSTL with a 168 and a worse GPA than you have.

Schools will use the 3.04 when looking at your app, as that is the number they use for their calculation of GPA medians. As the previous poster suggested you have good chances at midwestern splitter-friendly schools like WUSTL and UIUC. With your current LSAT score you have 0 chance at t14 (sorry if it sounds harsh, but its the truth). But if you retake and hit a 172+, you can definitely snag a lower t14.
