Can anyone weigh in on my odds? I really want to go to Ole Miss. I am an out of stater from a good public Univ. with great activities and letters of rec. my back ups are Mercer, Cumberland, Georgia State and Texas Tech. I'm hoping for Ole Miss but if not, just one of the above will do.
Thanks,
Matt

I think you'd stand a chance. Your LSAT is one point lower than their median, and your GPA is about .18 lower than their GPA median. It all depends on the kinds of numbers others have in that cycle but if that's where you want to go by all means apply!
Texas Tech is a good law school, but only if you want to work in the region/Texas. I'm from the panhandle and know a lot of great lawyers who went to Tech. Again, your numbers aren't quite up to par but worth a shot at applying.
My advice is to retake if possible.

You're below both medians for Ole Miss, so I'd venture to say you probably won't get in.
