I assure you the 169 doesn't work against you. In at Gtown, Cornell, UVA (if you ED or are a VA resident), Michigan. Good shot at Penn and Duke, okay shot at NYU, probably WL at Columbia. Berkeley is hard to predict because they have an insanely low acceptance rate and they tend to favor high GPAs.

When/where did you submit apps? Yes, there's hope.

Hmmm, so I wonder how much it hurts to apply in December.

I'm in the same boat as you, 3.85/170 and just sent in my applications yesterday. Good luck!

What are my chances at T-14's? I applied to Berkeley, Duke, Virginia, Georgetown, Cornell, Penn, NYU, Columbia and some next tier schools as well

Here's what is working against me

Got a 169 on the October LSAT, retook in December to get 171. My applications are only going complete now, so I'm late in the cycle!!!

Any hope?
Look at my LSN profile. Same name.
