Where to ED, POLL (3.47 169)

Post by gangreen7788 » Wed Jan 11, 2012 12:00 pm

After an earlier chance thread, I am looking for input on where to ED in the top 14 to maximize my liklihood of getting in. This would be for 2012-13 cycle, with apps ready on Sept 1. LSN seems to imply there's an outside chance at MVP on down. Ideally I'd like to stay on the east coast but I love Nu and feel like if I'd go to the midwest for them itd be dumb not to consider UMich. Strong softs and substantive work experience in public sector.

I would guess out at Penn and UVA since you are below both medians. Best shot is at Michigan since you are at their LSAT median. I would really work on the essay and putting together a good why mich. Dont know about georgetown and Northwestern, but I'm inclined to say out also with ED.

If you're applying in September, why not retake? You only need a 2 point increase on the LSAT to open up options/earn yourself money.

Def ED to Mich. Very early. Write a solid PS and, most importantly, persuasive Why UM?
