Re: My upward grade trend
Yes...but only if your LSAT makes up for it.
Your upward grade trend will not make your GPA any more desirable to adcoms.

WOW. That is impressive.
Sadly, all law schools care about is LSAT/cumulative LSDAS GPA. The upward trend will factor in slightly, but not nearly as much as that trend should.
Nice job though!

Thanks I appreciate it. It's a shame it took me that long to grow up but that's life!InGoodFaith wrote:WOW. That is impressive.

Re: My upward grade trend
I had taken some PT coursework and had a cumulative GPA of 2.10 going into Spring 2011...got a 3.25, Summer 2011 3.00(I hate Physics), Fall 2011 3.75, and frankly I am pretty proud of myself. I know I could have done better, but ever since I decided to make law my career my GPA has improved significantly. One calendar year I am sitting at a 2.95, and I am shooting for a 3.5 by the time I graduate, I have almost know room for error in the next 4 semesters, and I am taking a HEAVY course load, but I am confident I will get through it.

TLS doesn't require every post to be related to the OP in every detail, just read a few threads, you will learn.rglifberg wrote:That's great but really quite random.
Really the point here is that there are benefits to an upward trend, and the earlier you start improving, the better off you will be when it comes time for the apps to be filed out.

Re: My upward grade trend
Yeah, unfortunately I did not wake up until about half way through my college career, so my cumulative gpa sucks. I am planning on killing the LSAT so hopefully that will help me get in where I want. I hope you can recover much more quickly than I did.jared6180 wrote:TLS doesn't require every post to be related to the OP in every detail, just read a few threads, you will learn.rglifberg wrote:That's great but really quite random.
