I'm considering taking the test again and starting school in 2013. I'm confident that I can score in the 160's (I bombed a section on the test), but I would really prefer to start school this fall.
What type of schools do I have a chance at with my current numbers? I would prefer to stay in Texas, but I'm open to relocating to another state.
Let's say I were to retake the test and score between 160-165. How much of an impact would that make in terms of the schools I could get accepted into and scholarship money?
Thanks

Retake! If you can score high 150's, you have the potential to score in the 160's or even higher. An increase to 165 makes a whole world of difference in terms of acceptances and scholarship money. Waiting a year is worth it .. find something to build your experience in the next year!mickeyfree wrote:157 lsat

Re: 3.0, 157. What should I do?
I have similar numbers, 159/2.93, and I'm also considering taking the test over and applying for next cycle. My PT ranged from 155 to 162, so I agree with the other poster that you are capable of the 160s. Therefore, you should take the exam again, unless you have a REAL reason not to delay law school.
