No at Georgetown. But you have a very good shot at Howard. You are at the GPA median and one above the LSAT median so I would think you have a great chance of getting in there.

Apply to Howard. Shoot higher but not quite as high as Georgetown. I'd throw some top-50 apps in there as well. You'd be surprised where you'll get bites.

While I do agree with suga that you never know when it comes to being a URM and that you should throw in some apps at tier 1s, Howard is a lot better than a tier 3 school for AAs because of its great connections for AAs. Getting into Howard wouldn't be a bad thing.

thanks for the replies hjones and suga....the more I research howard the more I like...with my lsat my options are limited but it looks like howard places comparable to t30 in biglaw and other jobs so howard would be a good option for me right now ...im going to try to put together a killer app all around though and throw some higher rank apps and see what happens but as of right now i howard is a very good option

Definitely agree with Hjones about Howard and the options going there will present to you as an AA male. Regarding BC and BU though, I'm not sure you have the gpa to be admitted there. Those two schools are not well known for their leniency when it comes to admitting URMs. I think you would need a higher LSAT to pull a T25 acceptance (not saying it's not possible though). Where do you want to work?

Raise your LSAT 10 points and I think you are in at Georgie's Town.

If you don't want to retake and shoot for T14, you're better off at Howard than anywhere else. At least you'll have somewhat of a chance at those markets. I won't say it's as great as going to BU, BC, Columbia, NYU, Harvard or Yale, but it is possible.

I am sorry man, but like I have posted in both of your threads you have no shot at Georgetown or BC or BU unless you have done something incredibly unique in your softs, and I mean incredibly.

I know you keep bumping your threads looking for a different response, but if someone did give you what you want and say you have a shot at Gtown, they would just by lying to you. With your low GPA your going to need at least 10 more lsat points to be in consideration for Gtown.
