high gpa low lsat

Post by matt690 » Wed Dec 21, 2011 4:23 am

Hi,

I currently have a 151 lsat and 3.9 gpa (good resume). What t2 schools can I consider? Which schools will look at my gpa and overall character and not just lsat (Villanova, Syracuse, Hofsta, UMiami, SUNY Buffalo, UMD) Will any consider scholarship money? Thanks so much.

none.

Look at schools that dominate a local market where your LSAT is a little below the 25%ile.

But seriously, how extensively did you study? Because a better score puts you in a different world

Take a year off. Retake and apply ED to UVA.

Two threads and you will still get the same responses here at TLS (I think) and it's always going to be: "Retake" :(

This, but don't necessarily ED to UVA--depends on how well you do.

No one will condone this action unless a ninja will kill you if you don't apply this cycle.

I took a year off. Great decision. Very happy I did.

Is there a particular reason why? You're obviously capable of achieving a very high GPA, what makes you think otherwise for the LSAT?
