2.83/166
GPA: 2.83
LSAT: 166 or 93 percentile, I just like putting that in
Schools I have applied to: UCI, Loyola LA, Pepperdine, USD, Chapman
Chances on admission to these schools? Scholarship possibilities?

He wanted to post in your thread before someone told you to retake the LSAT or don't go to law school.harocutter wrote:I'm sorry, I don't understand what you mean? Could you please explain?

on a more serious note, congrats on that lsat, i think chapman's ur safety, definitely good chance at Pepperdine, USD, and Loyola. I don't know abt UCI though, are you a underrepresented minority? if so, u might get UCI, otherwise, it will be tough. i guess it depends on if UCI is still giving away a lot of money to attract applicants, if they stopped doing it, could help u out a lotharocutter wrote:GPA: 2.83

jah'rakal is right for the most part. I think you'll be in at Chapman, probably with $. I'm assuming you want to stay in SoCal based on your list, am I right? If so, apply to Southwestern, you'll get some $$. I think Pdine is sticky on GPAs, but a 166 will go far there. I think UCI will still be doing one more year of an auto 1/3 scholly, and with the people it's attracting as faculty and administration (and the buzz it's generating about shooting to a T1 as soon as it's fully accredited) I think it will probably be a pretty big reach.
If you're cool with CA in general, check out Santa Clara and McGeorge as well -- you'll probably get some $$ at either of those schools.

unfortunately, Cali schools are rough for people with low GPAs. If you can stomach leaving the coast, look in the midwest
