Chances for TX law schools? Forum

I'm applying this cycle (fall 2012) with a 3.87 degree granting gpa and 3.65 LSAC gpa. I had a bubbling error on the Oct LSAT and scored a 156. I'm retaking but I don't feel good about it. What are my chances, as is, for law schools in TX?

180. Tech would probably let you in with those numbers, but I hear the legal market in Lubbock is pretty crappy. and with a tech degree you probably won't get anywhere desirable in Texas.

Rack up an extra 4 points and you'll be likely at Baylor, and 6-8 points will get you a good shot at SMU and UH. You can do it!
