169/3.81

Post by cactuarX3 » Wed Nov 23, 2011 2:55 pm

Hey everyone,

Been lurking around here for a while now, but finally decided to post something.

Here are my stats:

164/169 (retake)
3.81 from UC Berkeley
3.5 years of work experience management consulting

Any chance for t10 or t15?

Very similar numbers for me except no WE. So far I'm in at UT Austin.
As far as the t14: I got WL at Uva.
Very good chances at: Cornell, Michigan, Georgetown.
I think you're WE may produce better results for you.

Thanks for the feedback! My number one choice is NYU and I put in ED for them. My LSAT is definitely below the median, and my GPA is about the median, but with work experience, does anyone think there's a decent shot?

And also, how much does work experience even count for law school admissions in general? I've heard many things, ranging from none to a lot.

Work experience doesn't matter unless it's something super outstanding ie,. you're own startup
