realistic option

Post by jiajee » Tue Nov 22, 2011 10:30 pm

so, I am a recent grad with a four year degree. I was working several jobs during undergrad, as well as a lot of problems at home. My grades suffered a lot because I felt I needed to take graduate on time, even though life circumstances did not allow me to do so. In retrospect, I should have slowed down.

Regardless, I have a 2.8 GPA and I am taking the LSAT practice test and keep getting scores of around 145. how realistic is it for me to actually get into a law school in NC?

that doesn't really help. I am actually trying to get realistic feedback.

i forgot to add that I am a full time employee at a major international corporation. I don't know if that helps any.

Yep, mesthinkso. Not such a bad effort, but not very creative IMO.

i guess I am trying really hard not to leave anything to chance nowadays?

I never took my circumstances into perspective so much in undergrad, and thus my GPA.

i always wanted to get a higher degree, but my GPA is so low that I really want to figure out the best course of action and my chances. weather it be for now or the future.

No one should ever go to law school because they "want to get a higher degree."

I'm like 91% sure this is a flame, but if it's not:

DO NOT GO TO LAW SCHOOL. YOU ALREADY HAVE A FULL-TIME JOB AT A "MAJOR INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION." GETTING A LAW DEGREE FROM CAMPBELL WILL NOT OPEN ANY DOORS FOR YOU.
