Of getting in, fair.
Of finding a job once there, poor.

Upward trend doesn't matter.I've got a 3.3 GPA with a STRONG upward trend (transferred to another school in UG and have a 3.5 there, pulling a 4.0 almost every semester for a year)
Taking the LSAT in December, I'm scoring around 165 for the PTs, timed
My LORs will be pretty strong
Worked as an investigator at the public defender's office
I'm working on my PS right now.
If I can score around 162-165+, what are my chances?
Practice LSATs don't matter.
LORs don't matter.
Worked in a public defender's office doesn't matter.
PS doesn't matter.
Your final GPA and final LSAT is all the school cares about.

How can you pull a 4.0 almost every semester for a year? So like, one semester?

Yah brah, there are only 2 semesters in a year. So "almost" every semester would be one semester. You sure you cut out for this whole legal reasoning thing? You must be flame.CorkBoard wrote:splitster1221 wrote:How can you pull a 4.0 almost every semester for a year? So like, one semester?
And by almost every semester I mean that my GPA has generally been near the 4.0 mark every semester for the past year....to clarify.

I'm not a rankings whore by any means, but I wouldn't be going to a school in such a desirable market where there's two (three?) higher ranked schools in DC and tons of people at higher ranked schools trying to break in.Jah'rakal wrote:I think you will get in if you score a 163, American is a solid tier 1 school, grats if u get in
