T14 chances?
My numbers are lsac gpa 3.04, 173, no post-undergrad WE, average softs. If you had these numbers, can I get a list of the T14 schools you would apply to?
I want to avoid paying the app fees for schools I have a 0% chance of getting into--- at the same time I don't want to miss out on any that I have a shot at. Thanks!

I would apply:
Cornell, Georgetown, Northwestern
and ED UVA
For safeties, WUSTL, George Washington

I'd also shoot an app to Michigan, sometimes they're friendly to splitters.

If by interesting you mean something actually really substantial (Rhodes Scholar, etc.), then maybe I could see you aiming higher. But if you are non-URM, check LSN. No one with your LSAT and that low of a GPA gets into CCN.dreakol wrote:brother, i'm in the same boatjediknight2424 wrote:My numbers are lsac gpa 3.04, 173, no post-undergrad WE, average softs. Unless you have a fee waiver and time to spare for an interview, don't bother applying to Northwestern. Your lack of WE will probably sink you.

Have fun spending $350+ and wasting countless hours on worthless applications.dreakol wrote:brother, i'm in the same boatjediknight2424 wrote:My numbers are lsac gpa 3.04, 173, no post-undergrad WE, average softs. If you had these numbers, can I get a list of the T14 schools you would apply to?

This. They basically only take non-WE people with a ridiculously high gpa and/or LSAT scorebdubs wrote:Unless you have a fee waiver and time to spare for an interview, don't bother applying to Northwestern. Your lack of WE will probably sink you.
ED UVA is basically a lock and Michigan, GULC or Cornell (possibly) would be other good places to try

This isn't entirely true. Of the people without work experience in this year's class, I'm pretty sure that not all of them have one number that is really far above median. That being said, the odds are not good to be one of those random people who happens to get in without work experience.JamMasterJ wrote:This.
