163/2.85, any chance?
Hey everyone, I was hoping you guys could chance a semi-splitter like me. Do you think I have any chance at one of these schools as a non-urm male?
Maryland
FSU
American
Uconn
Penn state
Case Western
Temple
University of Pitt
University of Miami
Rutgers- Newark/Camden
University of Richmond
Thanks!

lawschoolnumbers.com graphs for 2010-2011 should be helpful.

Thank you! I searched users to find applicants with similar numbers to me, but there were only a few traditional non-urm males applying with numbers that were close to mine. Regardless, I will be applying to these schools in the next week or two, so I should have an answer soon. I just hope I don't strike out on all of them! I might need to add a few more schools that aren't such a reach to the list.

In at American with a 2.85? Have their numbers gone down in the last couple of years or something?

Don't go to law school unless it's free.

Instead of running a search, just examine the graph for each school. Lawschoolnumbers is a great resource for figuring out admissions trends for a given school.Tls2012 wrote:Thank you! Any particular reason why you think Pitt is out? It is one of the schools that I am more interested in, and thought a had a decent shot of getting in since I scored over their 75th percentile LSAT. Does Pitt weigh GPA heavily?
EDIT: I was able to find a lot more applicants with numbers similar to mine by searching older cycles on LSN. Well the data may be a little out of date, it's still helpful in giving me a general idea of how my cycle will turn out. Thanks for all the help!

99% sure you're in at Pitt. Good shot at FSU.

No, the troll doesn't know what he's talking about. People with worse GPAs AND LSAT scores got into Pitt last year.Tls2012 wrote:Any particular reason why you think Pitt is out?
