If you were diagnosed as clinically depressed by a doctor and got treatment for depression and/or alcoholism, sure. If you were just mopey and making bad decisions, definitely no.

Also, what does it matter? Unless you want to ED somewhere else, you're going to be gunning for NUa nyway. Might as well toss your app in the ED pile and let them put you on hold.
