Looking for cash money 171/3.77
I was president of my fraternity in college, Hispanic male, a couple of lawyers in the family, currently a year out of ugrad, and I'm employed as a probation officer. Prefer to stay in the south, although I do have a blemish on all this- I was an RA as a sophomore, and I received an underage alcohol violation from the school (UGA). They caught wind of it and let me go. I was off duty, but they took issue with it. I've had no other disciplinary infractions at school or work since then. To help with this, I've got a good recommendation from my boss now, and My recs from my professors are good, too. I've had some attorneys tell me this issue is pretty piddly, but I guess I'll ask TLS's opinion... Where should I apply in the south for cash money so my poor parents aren't bankrupted?

So not PR or Mexican?ccmbr006 wrote:Hispanic- all other
Then you could probably get good money from the lower T14, WUSTL may give you a full ride, and if you have significant work experience (2 yrs is usually the trick) then Northwestern's ED program provides a full ride for those admitted.

Basically white, but I have a hispanic surname, so I know my ugrad counted me as a urm, since they sent me the urm welcome packet. gotta love Athens.

Yeah, then the options I said are probably your best bets. If you were PR or Mexican then you could probably get significant money at CCN on down.ccmbr006 wrote:Basically white, but I have a hispanic surname, so I know my ugrad counted me as a urm, since they sent me the urm welcome packet. gotta love Athens.

All I really want to do is practice in Georgia, so do you think I'd be competitive for good money at South Carolina, Vandy, and Georgia? Or Mercer ?

You will get HEFTY money at Vandy. No need to even consider USC or Mercer.ccmbr006 wrote:All I really want to do is practice in Georgia, so do you think I'd be competitive for good money at South Carolina, Vandy, and Georgia? Or Mercer ?

Cash money at Vandy, but I wouldn't fault you at all for taking a full ride at UGA
