columiba fee waiver 2011-2012 cycle

Post by yostington » Thu Oct 27, 2011 2:19 pm

I received a fee waiver from columbia law, this is despite a 164 lsat, (with a 3.75 gpa) this seems odd, are they just trying to increase their selectivity rankings or what?

Don't read too much into it.

Do they look like they need the money?

That's really awesome. I also got a 164. I could only hope they would send that for me.

+1. They are just trying to up their refusal rate. Still, $16 isn't that much money for a gamble.

Did you request it, or did they just send it to you? URM?

I got one too, unsolicited, with a 167/3.4

Such a tease. I am pretty certain it is just so they can deny me and augment their number for rejected applicants.

A fella can dream.

I got one and have a 171/3.33...I was actually thinking the same thing, maybe they just wanna look selective as shit. i mean, law school predictor has me as auto-deny. oh shi, i just realized my LSDAS GPA isn't on file yet haha. so they don't even kno.
