the oct lsat came out as 173, june was 171,
so no big change there
I'm an us citizen educated in a foreign university
so i don't really have a gpa, they just classified it as above average
which leaves me confused about what to expect when putting numbers in
at lsp or lsn
Wondering what my chances would be at
columbia,
nyu,
upenn,
chicago
michigan
cornell
willing to ED to a t6 if I could get in, not expecting any $$
any thoughts?

Penn, Michigan, Cornell &, maybe, NYU are likely admits. Columbia & Chicago depends upon the rest of your application packet. Both Columbia & Cornell have a lot (about 8%-9%) of students classified as International so they should have substantial experience evaluating international transcripts & evaluations.

Re: 171 -> 173 gpa classified as above average
There are four levels.
Superior, Above average, Average, and Inadequate.
Above average is likely to be equivalent to 3.0-3.5 GPA, I guess.

OP is probably aware of the rankings, but is seeking advice as to whether or not an ED application to Columbia will equate to a "superior" rating. I doubt it, but am only guessing.

um.. yeah I guess I'm stuck at what to expect.
a 3 would put me out at most of the t14
a 3.5 would give me a fighting chance at a lot of schools, or at least according to lsp
I'll guess I'll find out after the cycle's over
thanks for the advice

Without more info., your best bet might be to ED to Penn.
