173/3.85, triple major
Dreaming about Harvard, Columbia, or NYU.
I have two questions:
1) What are my chances with my current stats?
2) I should have a ~3.9 after this semester, and I'm pretty sure I can do at least a couple points better on the LSAT if I take it again. There were some really unfortunate circumstances the week I took it. I'm actually really surprised I even scored this high. It felt terrible compared to my practices, which I generally scored higher on. Should I apply now to be earlier in the rolling process, or are a few hundredths of GPA and risking a couple LSAT points worth waiting until later?

Triple major won't matter.
I'd say you're def in at CCN and a less-than-decent shot at H. If you're sure you can do better, absolutely retake, but apply right now--you'll have some acceptances to calm your nerves by the time December scores rolls around.

....apply now. apply ASAP.
in at NYU and probably Columbia, if you don't screw up your apps.
Harvard is a toss-up. Make it an excellent application.

Thank you for the quick responses.
Another consideration --I am 1/4 Mexican, but you would probably not guess it looking at me. Is this enough heritage to list on applications, or can you only mark dominant ethnicity?
Edit: Realize this question should have been relocated. Sorry!

One drop rule. Although having the last name helps.beevs wrote:Thank you for the quick responses.

No need to retake the LSAT as a 173/3.9 with URM status is enough for any law school that cares about numbers. Yale & Stanford look beyond the numbers once you're in their league.
