4.13 GPA/156 LSAT
I received my October LSAT score like everyone else and was more than a little disappointed.
I currently have a 4.13 GPA with a double major in Healthcare Management and Spanish from the flagship univrsity in my state in the Deep South. I would like to stay in the (Deep) South for employment. The cities I would like to work in include Atlanta, Nashville, Birmingham, etc. My plan was to attend Vandy or Emory but this has been derailed due to my poor LSAT.
So, I submit 3 questions to the wisdom of the gallery:
1) Is retaking the best option for me?
2) Would my score be competitive/competiteve for scholarship at moderately ranked Southern schools like Alabama, UGA, Wake, LSU, Arkansas, etc.?
3) Would it be worth it to attend a lower ranked school i.e. Samford, Mississippi College, Mercer, Loyola NO on scholarship?
Thanks

1. Yes. Get it up to at least 159 and you should be competitive for Emory. For Vandy I would say you would be competitive in the mid160s, perhaps even a 163. 4.13 is too good a GPA to waste on a mediocre (sorry) LSAT score.bjhs08 wrote:I received my October LSAT score like everyone else and was more than a little disappointed.

retake if you get above a 160... ed to UVA.
Dont go to anything outside of USC.... way too risky in this environment.
