Hi, I'm new to this board, but the advice looks sound.
I'm paying for applications out of pocket, so I have to be surgical when considering what schools I should I apply for.
For a little perspective, here's some background info: First generation Salvadoran-American, born and raised in Newark NJ. My resume includes working as a staffer for Newark Mayor Cory Booker's reelection (He's writing me a recommendation) and working as a consultant for a business and political firm, under the direct tutelage of Booker's campaign manager and Obama's 2008 NJ Political Director.
Undergrad GPA 3.1/LSAT 164
What schools should I target?
I'm considering:
NYU
UPenn
George Washington U Law School
Fordham
Boston College
Boston University
Cornell
Rutgers (Safe choice)
Etc.
Thank you. The feedback is greatly appreciated.

Re: Where should I apply?
My transcript was just posted on my LSAC account and my LSAC GPA is a 3.08
. However I apparently had like the second highest score in my graduating class. I don't know if that counts for anything.
