3.72/170 - Shot at T6?
3.72 GPA
170 LSAT
Average softs - lots of research experience at various think tanks and under a renowned professor, leadership positions in student organizations in college
Work experience - 1 yr public affairs fellowship during which I worked at various organizations. Started working at a large corporation afterwards, which is where I am currently, doing community-oriented work trying to get people jobs. I'll have a year of full time work experience by the time I matriculate.
Strong LORs - 2 academic LORs, one from a very high ranking former government official. Two Stanford-specific LORs.
Good PS
GPA addendum
Non-URM
Graduated from top 5 undergrad
Do I have any shot at the top 6? I really want to go to Columbia. Do I have any shot ED'ing to any of CCN?

I would think small but possible chance at NYU ED. If your parents are paying for school and/or you don't care about lots of debt, toss in an app.

If I go ahead and submit my apps (RD) and register for the Dec. LSAT, will schools review my app right now? I'm confident I can score higher (was PT'ing in the mid-170s).
Also, what score would I have to get to make it worth it to retake? For example, if I get a 172 on a retake and submit in January, would that give me a significantly higher chance at CCN?

Doubt it. You are solid now. I'd only retake if you can score 173+ to get in the 75%, but I don't even know if the benefit of a 3pt score increase would be greater than the harm of a late application.

Bump for any more information on whether or not the benefit of a 3+ point increase outweighs the cost of applying late. Thanks!
