3.53 and 171
I'm a double major and in my universities honors college, but I know that doesn't count for much. I'm thinking of doing ED to Penn, and applying normally to NYU, Michigan, and maybe Georgetown and Virginia, and then Temple and Villanova. Seem like a reasonable plan, or do I have no shot at T14?

If you ED to Penn you'll likely get in.

I hope... Would it be worth it to write a specific personal statement just for Penn or should I just try to make my "generic" one (which I've already written, just need to revise a bunch) as good as possible? Any chances for other T14 RD? I was thinking UVA and Georgetown would be matches.thelawyler wrote:If you ED to Penn you'll likely get in.

Don't bother changing a good PS. Instead, write the 5-year plan (optional essay for Penn). UVA is a match, but you're in danger of WL unless you ED. You should be in at Georgetown.

Ah, that's a good idea. Thanks, think I'll do that.soj wrote:Don't bother changing a good PS. Instead, write the 5-year plan (optional essay for Penn). UVA is a match, but you're in danger of WL unless you ED. You should be in at Georgetown.

Edit: Anyone think I'd have a good chance at Michigan if I wrote a good essay for them?

From what I've seen on law school numbers, it looks like Virginia/Penn/Michigan are about 50/50, while NYU is a stretch.
