Don't go insane man. You should be fine, especially if you are doing ED.

Thanks for the comment. But but but...i'm below the school's median....wouldn't this make me a figurative leper in their eyes now? *feels dirty*ThomasMN wrote:Don't go insane man. You should be fine, especially if you are doing ED.

Firstly, lepers are dirty. Their limbs just atrophy and fall off.avemundi wrote:Thanks for the comment. Secondly, half the school has numbers below median.
Thirdly, save your worry for being below median in grades.

Check your facts, because unless they raised it, it's 170.
Gaining acceptance to Penn Law is difficult: typically, just 14% of applicants in a given year earn the right to attend. Like most law schools, Penn Law places heavy emphasis on each candidate’s undergraduate GPA and LSAT score. On these metrics, the Class of 2013 features lofty medians of 3.85 and 170, respectively

So...do I have legitimate reason to freak out? Or am I being an insufferable LS admissions hypochondriac?
why why does their 75% number and median have to be the sameeee gawddd

Um, yes, that's the point - I called and asked about the numbers for the class of 2014.....JamMasterJ wrote:Check your facts, because unless they raised it, it's 170.Gaining acceptance to Penn Law is difficult: typically, just 14% of applicants in a given year earn the right to attend. But this is the internet. If I can't troll for my own enjoyment, what am I supposed to do?avemundi wrote:come on guys, i'm seriousssss

Seriously though, chill out, you're fine. It's doubtful Penn can maintain a 171 median. Either way, worrying will do you no good. Just put together the best app you can and hope for the best.

haha, no I don't think so, but that would be appropriate. It's the verbal texting lady from Curb Your Enthusiasm. She's pointing and saying "LOL" instead of just laughing.avemundi wrote:thanksSamara wrote:But this is the internet. That reminds me, I should change my tar to Leon wearing glasses so that everyone will inexplicably agree with me.

ave I think you need to chill. First off you have superior grades and from what I hear law schools like international students. Second, you have a 170 so it's not like you have a woefully bad LSAT. Third, it seems as though law school applications are going down, so maybe their median will fall back down a point. Finally, you are talking about an ED to Penn, not the local TTT, and if things don't work out this cycle, you can always take another crack at the LSAT and try to grab a couple more points. Things could be a lot worse.

1. It is Janice And the lol Curb lady.
2. Yes people get in with lower and people with higher scores don't get in. Many people are above medians at schools and don't get in for various reasons.
3. Your scores are good enough. Increase YOUR chances by killing the essays.
