Just wondering if I could get some input on my chances at certain schools and if I'll get any money. I plan on applying to these this month. I'm not retaking the LSAT, as I already did and am not going through the process again. I'm a Philosophy and Political Science Double Major with a Minor in Economics.

IN w/ $$
FSU
Nevada
UNH
PSU
Richmond
SHU
IN likely sticker:
UF
Mason
OSU
SMU
50/50, Probably Waitlist:
W&L
W&M
Probably Out:
UMN
Emory
4.0s are tough to predict; some schools love them and will allow for serious discrepancy in LSAT, others won't. I'd take a few more long shots and add a few better schools where you may land some $$. What about UNC and UGA? Maybe a hail mary to GW, IUB, or UIUC?

Thanks for the advice. Do you think I'd get $$ at those schools you recommend my applying to?

Re: 160/4.0
Hard to say. With UNC and UGA being state schools it kind of depends on how much is floating around in the pot that particular year. It looks like you are trying to stay East Coast-ish/South. Some kid on LSN swung $90,000 at Tulane with a 160/3.8. Another seemed to get $45,000 at Wake with a 160/3.9. Temple would be worth checking with your numbers. They give pretty small schollys, but tuition is nice and low to begin with. You might actually swing some at Mason; they are gpa whores. If you are playing the ranking game, Tulane, Wake, and Mason are probably the highest ranked schools that you could swing money at based on your numbers alone.Finalflash013 wrote:Thanks for the advice. Why not re-take? It's a pity to waste that GPA on such a meh LSAT score. Literally 6 points could change your life.

Seriously. Might only need 3 points to snag UVA through ED. Four years of hard work and you settle for that LSAT because of poor study habits and test day nerves? C'mon.WSJ_Law wrote:Why not re-take? It's a pity to waste that GPA on such a meh LSAT score. Literally 6 points could change your life.
