ED NYU or Columbia or neither?
Hello,
I can't seem to decide since I am in a unique situation. stats are 3.85/171/164/167 in that order. What should my play be for this cycle. LSN does not semm to help that much. Thank you!
edit: please do not give me crap about my lower scores since i know that it was a dumb decision.

neither IMO, use your ED on a school like Michigan (which gives $ to ED apps) or penn.

Re: ED NYU or Columbia or neither?
i already got into NYU and Chicago last cycle with these numbers so i do not think that would be wise. i am mostly concerned with NYU waitlisting me this time for not attending and seeing if an ED would boost me into columbia since i got waitlisted there last cycle.

if you got in last time why waste the ED? Add an addendum saying you couldnt attend for financial or personal or whatever reason it was (it obviously wasnt cause you didnt like NYU)
I would do Columbia as that might actually help you.

If you really want to ED to one of those two, I'd ED to NYU. That'll show them that you're serious about attending next year and maybe keep you from being thrown on the WL. I really don't think Columbia is going to happen with those numbers, even with ED.
Also, did you get your second and/or third LSAT after being accepted to NYU last cycle? I've heard quite often (and I think they've even said themselves) that they still average LSAT scores.
