Hi all,
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
Here are my stats:
- GPA: 3.55
- LSAT: 170
- 2 years of solid work experience
- good softs from college
- Virginia resident
Interested in the following schools:
- Penn
- Michigan
- Virginia
- Duke
- Northwestern
I guess the more specific question is, do I have a shot at any/some of these places regular decision, or is picking one and ED-ing the way to go?
3.55/170, help please Forum

Virginia residency puts you in great shape for UVA. The rest are dicey regular decision, so if there is one you'd love I'd ED.

+1 Virginia also has that lightning fast ED turnaround time that allows you to ED somewhere else if you don't get in. Northwestern is probably your next best bet, but note that they don't allow you to ED if you applied ED somewhere else.Tiago Splitter wrote:Virginia residency puts you in great shape for UVA. You might try browsing this thread, though I think you might've already seen it.

I was 3.4/170 and applied ED to Virginia as a Resident. I was accepted in less than a week, which was awesome and took all pressure off. You have to really want to go to UVA though - not everyone is a fan of the countryside. I personally love it there.
Let me know if you apply - I deferred a year so I'll be in the Class of 2015!
