Re: 3.2x / 172
Are you a URM? I'm not sure what the ruling on Salvadoran is, but it will make a difference.

Of course, I've looked through LSN, but I was hoping to get more personalized answers from the forums; after all, why would this forum even be here if all answers could be found on LSN?
LSN is better for strict number questions. All you are doing by asking that question here is having other people go on LSN and LSP and predict for you. Few have inside knowledge.

Write a diversity statement. You're far more likely to get a boost for being Salvadoran if you actively identify as such.fishbulb wrote:I'm unclear on my URM status as well; I've scoured forums for a definitive answer and the consensus seems to be I might get a small boost, but nothing like MA or PR. The only thing I would add in case OP is unaware is that he or she is a splitter, and NW, WUSTL, and ?UVA ED? are splitter friendly according to the gossip.bk187 wrote:http://www.lawschoolnumbers.com
But I agree with what some posters are implying, which is that unless an applicant has something really zany about his or her application, these threads tend to be unnecessary given all the info available on LSN and LSP.

You aren't a URM. I'm assuming you are a non-MA/PR Hispanic in which case you may get a slight boost against people with similar numbers (though that is still highly unlikely) but even if it happens it isn't going to get you in to any place that your numbers don't already make you eligible for.fishbulb wrote:I'm unclear on my URM status as well; I've scoured forums for a definitive answer and the consensus seems to be I might get a small boost, but nothing like MA or PR. Also +1 to what Glock said.

West Coast law schools love GPA, and are often unwilling to overlook a lower GPA even with a high LSAT.
