go to law school numbers and compare the cycles of two applicants with very similar numbers, one who ed'd chicago and one who ed'd nyu. it still won't give you the answer (doubt you can actually get an answer to this question) but it may help.

NYU is generally more forgiving to borderline applicants than Chicago. So if you have borderline numbers (which I assume you do since you're considering ED), I'd lean towards NYU.

What are your numbers? A 168/3.9 has a better shot at NYU (per LSN), while a 176/3.4 has a much better shot at Chicago.

There seem to be different wants in their respective ED programs.
