Shot at Cornell
I posted earlier on for some general advice, but now I'm trying to gauge schools that would be "safeties" or "targets" for me. I scored 170 on the June LSAT and have a 4.0 UG GPA (higher LSDAS GPA) from an Ivy (top 10 school). Very weak softs (worked a brutally average job this past year) except for a Fullbright scholarship awarded for '11-'12.
TLSers have told me already what my chances are in the top 10, I'm interested in knowing how likely getting into Cornell would be, and in terms of safeties, what to shoot for?

You might as well just blanket the Top 14 if you've got the money, you've got an outside shot almost anywhere. The Top 6 or so are iffy with your LSAT, but they're still pretty decent shots.

You should have just put this in your other thread. You're in a Cornell.

Re: Shot at Cornell
Would I be close to an auto-admit anywhere in the T-14? The reason why I'm asking is because I don't really have the money to blow on 15+ apps, and want to form a pretty solid list by next week week. I want to choose wisely on where I'm applying (might not even apply to HYS, why bother).pwyoung wrote:You might as well just blanket the Top 14 if you've got the money, you've got an outside shot almost anywhere.
