Lol because I just got an email from Columbia law school about an information session. Presumably I am getting this because I am in some LSAT range (168, which is not even good for CLS??). However, my GPA is 2.65, non-URM. I am an auto-ding at Columbia. Can't they put some sort of filter on that? What if I did not have access to TLS to know I had no shot or was some naively hopeful individual and took a day off from work to drive down to NYC to sit in on this two hour information session only to have some admissions officer say "well, son, it's going to be tough with that GPA, and you're LSAT well, it ain't that impressive, either." Do they want me to apply just to ding me and keep their acceptance rate low? Come on Columbia, you are much too good for me, and you know this. Lol

They are definitely trolling for money. That sucks, but just don't waste the time.

more applicants=more rejection=lower accpetance=higher USNEWS selectivity score.

I got a 174 and I didn't get that e-mail. I'm a little disappointed right now.

Yeah, I realized that after the fact. Not trying to be a dick, there. But seriously, I'd be really happy to see anything from CLS in my inbox, even if it just means I'm on their radar in some capacity.

I got the email too and i don't have a score nor a GPA on file with CAS. They're definitely just padding their stats.
