for full time? honestly? slim. There was someone on LSN this year that was your number twin and got rejected, even though she went ED. bump up your LSAT by three or four points, though, and you'll be right in the thick of things.

unlikely, retake and get a 165 and you should be in good shape and probably get a nice scholarship as well

Correction my LSDAS GPA is a 3.47 so how much of a difference would it make if I improved it to above a 3.5 during the fall semester? I also plan on retaking the LSAT, but how much of a difference does a 3.47 vs. a 3.5 really make? I've heard some schools set a GPA floor at 3.5 unless you're a huge splitter.

SMU is an LSAT school. 3.43 versus 3.5 won't matter at all.

K what about University of Texas? Would a 3.47 vs. 3.5 make a difference? I know my lsat isn't anywhere close but I'm hoping that I can fix that in October.

edit: I'm just wondering whether or not it would be worth it to wait until mid December to apply if I know that my gpa would be higher or if I would be better off getting my applications in as soon as I get my October lsat results.

Yes. UT has an almost concrete 3.5 floor.
