International candidate 163/3.61. Chance?
Actually that 163 is the third score. I cancelled the first and got 160 in the second.
English is not my first language hence I am not sure how would schools treat my LSAT.
I would be very happy to get into any Top 30. That is ideal, of course.
Any suggestions? Thanks a lot all the same.

Law schools will treat your score as they would any other applicant.
Check out law school predictor. It's unlikely you will get into a top 30 school, but will probably get into a T1.
ETA: be sure to get someone to edit your essay if you are not completely comfortable with English. Good luck!

That is not sarcasm. I sincerely said thanks for the reply and cares. Everybody including me know what my scores mean. No need to attack whoever gave the truth. But it is what it is. I would try anyway.

It's impressive you got a 163 with English being your second language.
I disagree on top 30. I think you'd get IU: B, and maybe Notre Dame/Georgia/Iowa, but no school worth sticker.

Oh okay, I just interpreted the "LOL" as sarcasm. My bad then.risingdragon wrote:That is not sarcasm. I sincerely said thanks for the reply and cares. Everybody including me know what my scores mean. No need to attack whoever gave the truth. But it is what it is. I would try anyway.

No problem. I just try to relax myself by that LOL. You surely could understand how bitter it is to get a 163. I can do nothing but teasing myself to recover. Life has to move on.kazu wrote:Oh okay, I just interpreted the "LOL" as sarcasm. My bad then.risingdragon wrote:That is not sarcasm. I sincerely said thanks for the reply and cares. Thanks a lot to your reply to my thread anyway.

I do not know. That is why I post this thread. But we have to try anyway, right?flexityflex86 wrote:It's impressive you got a 163 with English being your second language.

BTW, don't be impressed, here we have tons of 168+s without English as mother language in China.
